The Reverend Matt Rucker

It is with great joy and thanksgiving that we welcome Father Matthew Rucker to be the permanent rector at St. Peter’s.
After a year-long search by the search committee, we are thankful that Father Matt has answered the call and will be relocating to Loveland in August. Father Matt has served at Christ Church Anglican in Phoenix, Arizona for the last three years.
He and his wife Madeline have one daughter, Genevieve, and another daughter expected in early June.
After a long search, much prayer, and looking to God for His leading, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Father Matt as the rector of our congregation. Please pray as he transitions into his role and for his family’s transition as well.

UPDATE!
Father Matt Rucker, and his wife Madeline, have announced the arrival of a new baby daughter, Vivienne Grace Rucker. Vivienne joins daughter Genevieve to become the newest member of the Rucker family soon to be residing in Loveland. Vivienne was born in the summer heat of Phoenix, Arizona, on June 10th at 6:00 pm.
The Rucker family will be moving to Loveland in early August, and Father Rucker’s first service with the St. Peter’s congregation will be Sunday, August 22nd. A parish Sunday celebration is planned for this day to welcome the Rucker family. A special welcome meal will be available for all members of the congregation following the 9:30 AM service. More event details will be available in the August Newsletter.
Friends of Christ at St. Peter’s, be assured the Lord is richly blessing you in sending Fr. Matt and his family! We at Christ Church Phoenix are grieved to say farewell to them, but filled with joy in the certain hope That “this is the Lord’s doing, and it is wondrous in our eyes.” It was a delight (and reassuring!) to worship with you this past Sunday. Please pray for Christ Church as we seek God’s leading in our own search for a new rector.
